Melbourne Boat Cruise Proposal along the Yarra River was perfect for Kosta and Celeste’s proposal. A leisurely dinner was planned as they cruised from Docklands down the Yarra River to Birrarung Mar where we Melbourne Wedding Proposals was waiting for an 8.30pm sunset proposal.
All setup with our Marry Me Lights turned off with our 6m red carpet runner, led candles and 2 cylinder vases of red roses. We had turned the lights off as it was planned that they would be turned on just as they were arriving so that from a distance the lights did not create to much attention until just before they arrived.
With proposal all setup and the ring put into place we just now had to wait for the boat to arrive. As the Yarra River is popular for all types of cruising from small boats, to river boats and rowing boats going up and down the river.
We decided to have a little fun as Kosta’s brother and future sister in law were waiting with us we were receiving lots of cheer and congratulations even though they were already engaged we decided to do a little photo bombing of our own.
It was arranged for the engagement ring to be delivered by Kosta’s brother and his fiance. With nowhere for Kosta to hide the ring on him it was safer and the perfect decoy to not have the ring on him.
Feeling quite nervous about the proposal we received a few text messages through the day from Kosta and we assured him to follow the emotion of the moment. With the ring arriving during our setup we placed the ring on the red carpet with a few petals around the box so it was easily identified when Kosta was ready to go down on bended knee.
Lights Camera Action. Our Marry Me Lights were turned on just as they got closer after coming under the Princes bridge to create an instant impact and excitement of the proposal.
