Interstate Elopement Langham Hotel for Katie and Joe was the perfect weekend getaway to elope with us here at Wedding Hire Melbourne and Melbourne Wedding Proposals.
The balcony overlooking the city from Room 2105 at the Langham Hotel at Southbank was the perfect location for a private elopement for Katie and Joe. With Katie’s Mum and Joe’s Parents and Grandma as witnesses, this made it a private family occasion. Having traveled from South Australia to Melbourne for a perfect weekend getaway and to say “I do” together in front of their parents.
Wedding Hire Melbourne as our main business at this time had the pleasure of setting up an Intimate afternoon ceremony with white carpet runner and a couple of white Tiffany chairs with a touch of gold for both sets of parents to take a seat that overlooked City of Melbourne as the backdrop. Joe let us in to the room just before the wedding to setup what Katie had organised as she was getting ready in her mum’s room.
Once setup we left and waited down stairs until after the ceremony. The photographer arrived just before we completed to take some photo’s with the celebrant arriving not long after.
Once the ceremony was officiated by their celebrant, their day was followed by photo’s around our beautiful city finishing with dinner at one of Melbourne’s iconic restaurants with their parents to help celebrate.
Months of planning went into making the day special and to make sure they got the room of choice with the balcony at Melbourne’s Langham Hotel at Southbank in the city. Katie and Joe created this perfect intimate ceremony and weekend away in January 2019 that started off with the perfect “I DO”
