With the help of Shiran’s friends and our event hire services, a gorgeous Christmas proposal was planned within a couple of days. The proposal was planned to be at the Old Bandstand in the Fitzroy Gardens a couple of days before Christmas 2017. With a vision in mind, Shiran contacted us looking for an arch with flowers, carpet, petals to help compliment the look he was after.
From our initial phone call, we were able to provide a quotation, book the proposal in and organise our florist, Tyabb Roses in making the fresh flowers for the arch. All we had to do on the day was turn up and put it all together. Arriving a little early as the proposal was on a Friday evening in the city, and we wanted to make sure there were no delays due to traffic.
Shiran’s friends were there for moral support and help with a few small details. This included organising a small bottle of sparkly and couple of glasses which both Shiran and Sheetal enjoyed after the proposal to embrace the moment and the basking in the setup that was created. They then headed off for dinner plans that were also planned.
Now the flowers were removed from the arch and passed onto their friends to take back to Shiran’s home, so Sheetal could enjoy them for days after proposal.
We received a lovely email from Shiran about a month after the proposal as follows:
I want to say how thankful I am to you, your husband and daughter for the absolutely amazing job you did with the archway and those amazing flowers. Sheetal was so blown away with how it turned out; and as you might have seen from where you were on the day, she was just in shock! Our friends who were there on the day were also so amazed by what you guys created.
On a personal note I just wanted to say how thankful I am for your professionalism. Every step of the process was handled exactly the way I was expecting. From our initial conversation on the phone, you were so willing to understand what I had in mind and knew what to do. Then all of the other admin parts of the process were handled extremely well. Your quote was exactly as discussed, and I didn’t need to call you again to change or clarify any part of that quote. On the day I was put at ease when I called early in the afternoon to confirm everything was progressing as planned, and you were already ready to go. What was most impressive to me was you arrived to the venue early, having to drive from Seaford, making sure you were prepared in case of any last minute hiccups, which can inevitably happen with these things. Your service included early set up as well as the pack up afterwards, and that just made the whole thing seamless for us and took away all that hassle.
I have dealt with other suppliers and more often than not unfortunately, one or more of these parts of the service falls through. Either the quoting is inaccurate, they are inflexible or not accommodating, and worst do not provide the service they initially quoted for and make this known at the last minute on the day of delivery. I can say unreservedly, you delivered on all fronts and I could not have been happier.
